Current Event #6

"You never know what happens behind closed doors" is the last line the neighbor, that was being interviewed in the attached video, said. That sentence provokes much thought because its relevance to this article is extraordinary. A young boy was found, after being missing for four years, earlier this week. The, now 13-year-old, young boy had been living behind a false wall of a house in Georgia. He was recently reunited with his mother and is healthy. The neighbors of the house, where he was being trapped. were flabbergasted with the news. One even said her own son had played with the missing boy many times. The neighbors were so surprised when they learned that the boy was being trapped inside that house against his will. The boy's father and other adults keeping him captive, faced charges in several different titles.

This story and article provides hope as well as suspicion to it's viewers: hope in the sense that a boy could be missing for several years and still make a safe return and suspicion in the sense that this could be occurring anywhere due to the neighbor's extreme oblivion. Thankfully, the young boy is safe with his loving family now which is the only truly important thing.
